Back by popular demand, the critically acclaimed “SF Follies” returns to Union Square with a hilarious all new production!

Director and producer John Bisceglie seeks 12 non-union comedic men and women (Ages 18+) who sing, act and move to play dozens of larger than life “SNL” type characters from SF’s past, present, and future. The “SF Follies” is a great showcase for local talent, who are looking to be a part of a high quality ensemble show.

Cast members will receive a one time $100 non-negotiable stipend to help cover travel costs and out of pocket expenses.

This is a fun non-union theater production with a talented cast, high production value and small time commitment, allowing those with busy schedules and family commitments the ability to perform in a dynamic production.

In 2009, “SF Follies” was awarded “Best Musical”, “Best Director”, “Best Choreographer” and “Best Ensemble” by the Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle. The show was also awarded San Francisco Chronicle’s “Little Man Clapping” rating.

A favorite for locals and visitors alike, “SF Follies” takes a wicked wink at San Francisco’s past, present and future. Meet the city’s famed and shamed personalities, politicians, celebs, kooks, and killers as they expose San Francisco’s best and worst of times.

Discover San Francisco’s history, secrets, scandals and urban folklore as they are revealed in this 90 minute hilarious, jaw-dropping musical revue overflowing with singing, dancing and outrageous comedy.

With earthquakes, beatniks, hippies, rabid sea lions and a nearly naked gold miner, SF Follies is as unique and zany as the city itself.
